As of March 2008, McCaig-Welles and Michael Rosenthal Contemporary Art have joined forces to become "McCaig-Welles & Rosenthal" with galleries in Brooklyn and San Francisco/Redwood City. The merger’s primary goal is to enable artists to exhibit their work in New York and San Francisco while developing an international presence for the gallery and the artists we work with.
On September 1, 2008 McCaig Welles and Rosenthal will open a new gallery / project space at 365 Valencia Street between 14th and 15th Street in addition to its current Brooklyn Gallery at 129 Roebling St.
